ahh.... Were kinda the same way with Heavy Rain...But we probably know a little more about HR than we do Alan. Either way we don't know much about those games yet, but I would say this list is pretty good.

Really we should do this with every good game, just admit that it is good. It is one thing to say that YOU didn't enjoy a game, but it is another to say that it is a bad game. Halo 3 MGS4 GTA4 were all good games, however, not everybody liked them. A game doesn't have to be universally liked to be good.
No, because the PlayStation brand is better known. It just needs to be at a more affordable price. Compare the PS2 and xbox's sales. Where did all of those people go? They are waiting.
Sure, but you have to realize, that while people need to be responsible, companies should price things at a more decent price. That said I think that the PS3 is fairly priced. However, look at the facts from sony's point of view. If they want to move consoles they need a price cut.
Wait... I thought that you said the power of the cell and the 360's cpu(gpu?) were equal. IF they were exactly the same they would have the same price. There must be a difference, or they must be nearly the same price, pick either or.
True enough, fanboys can say what they want.... I don't understand why xbots don't just admit that the PS3 is more powerful, then just say "but it is not worth the price". I would still have to disagree with them, but it would be a decent argument.
Sony could make the money back from Blu-ray and 1st party game sales.
I agree that they don't NEED it right now, but it would help them immensely. It will also keep up their fan base for the next gen. At this point sony would be dead if it weren't for their fanbase.

2008, for sony, should have gone blu-ray wins war, MGS4 (rhyme!), PRICE CUT of at least $50, announce GOW111, lots of games just before the holidays. PS3 would have owned 08, but hey, I guess they did anyway.

I think what you are trying to say is that a price cut around the holidayzz would be good. However, there is also a "lets all buy a console now" rush just before summer break for the kiddies. Maybe they could do both, two 50 dollar cuts?
If Sony can cut the price they could crush the xbox 360.
